Refund Policy

General Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with QRForever. If you're not happy with our service, we offer a 7-day refund window for first-time subscribers. This allows you to try our Premium features risk-free.

After the 7-day period, subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, and you'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Refund Timeline

  • Request review: 2-3 business days
  • Processing: 5-7 business days after approval
  • Bank processing: 3-10 business days (varies by bank)

Eligible for Refund

  • First-time subscription within 7 days of payment (any billing cycle)
  • Service unavailable for 7+ consecutive days during billing period
  • Critical technical issues for 72+ hours (QR generation non-functional)
  • Billing errors (duplicate charges, charged after cancellation)
  • Charged wrong amount (higher than plan price)
  • Dashboard inaccessible due to our errors for 72+ hours

Not Eligible for Refund

  • ×Subscription renewals (second month onward)
  • ×Reactivations after previous cancellation
  • ×Cancellation after 7-day window
  • ×Partial billing periods (unused days in monthly/quarterly/yearly plans)
  • ×User error (forgetting to cancel, not using features)
  • ×Third-party issues (low QR traffic, printer quality, destination URLs you control)
  • ×Account suspended for Terms of Service violations
  • ×Partner commission refunds (earned commissions are non-refundable)

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

To cancel:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to Settings → Billing
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Cancellation?

Access Until Period Ends

You'll keep full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.

No Future Charges

Your payment method will not be charged again. Billing stops immediately.

Account Paused State

Your account enters "Paused" state - all QR codes become inactive, dashboard access is restricted, but all your data is preserved indefinitely.

Resume Anytime

All your data is preserved indefinitely. You can reactivate at any time (even months or years later) and all your QR codes, analytics, and settings will be instantly restored.

Permanent Deletion (Optional)

If you want to permanently delete your account, email [email protected]. Deletion is processed within 90 days and is irreversible.

Important Note

All QR codes become inactive when your account enters Paused state. If you have printed materials, consider updating them or reactivating your subscription before distribution.

Partner Commission Refunds

No Refunds on Earned Commissions

Commissions earned from valid referrals are not refundable to partners. Once a commission is paid out to a partner, it cannot be reversed.

Commission Forfeitures

Commissions may be forfeited (not refunded to partner) in the following cases:

  • Referred user requests refund within 7-day window
  • Referred user's payment disputed or charged back
  • Fraud detected in referral (self-referral, fake accounts)
  • Partner fails to maintain 2 active referral minimum for 3+ months
  • Partner account suspended or terminated for policy violations

Referred User Refunds

If a user you referred requests a refund:

  • Commission associated with that payment is reversed
  • Amount deducted from your pending earnings
  • If already paid out, deducted from future earnings
  • You will be notified via email

Chargebacks & Disputes

Credit Card Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of requesting a refund from us:

  1. We will be notified by our payment processor (Razorpay)
  2. We will provide transaction evidence to your bank
  3. Your bank makes the final decision (can take 30-90 days)
  4. If chargeback succeeds: Your account is immediately suspended and access revoked. We may pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks.
  5. If chargeback fails: You still owe the original amount and your account remains active

Fraudulent Chargebacks

Chargebacks initiated after using the Service in bad faith may result in:

  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to fraud prevention databases
  • Legal action to recover losses (chargeback fees, legal costs)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a partial refund if I cancel mid-billing period?

No, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods (monthly, quarterly, or yearly). However, you will retain full access to all features until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?

All QR codes become inactive when your account enters Paused state at the end of your billing period. However, all your data is preserved indefinitely and you can reactivate your subscription at any time to restore everything instantly.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes! You can resubscribe at any time - even months or years later. All your previous QR codes, analytics history, and settings will be instantly restored upon reactivation.

How do I request a refund?

Email us at [email protected] with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Include your order ID, payment date, and reason for refund. Our team will review and respond within 2-3 business days.

Are yearly subscriptions refundable?

All subscription types (monthly, quarterly, yearly) follow the same 7-day refund policy for first-time subscribers. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to prevent auto-renewal.

What if a user I referred requests a refund?

If you are a partner and a referred user requests a refund within their 7-day window, the commission associated with that payment will be reversed and deducted from your pending earnings. See our Partner Program Terms for complete details.
